Fall/Winter Session 2026-2027: 

Tuesday, October 13, 2026 through Friday, February 12, 2027

 

DASEP (Daily After School Enrichment Program) operates on most afternoons when the Florida Ruffin Ridley School (FRR) is open and does NOT operate on holidays and any other day school is closed. 

NOTE: DASEP serves only FRR students.

 
For Fall/Winter Session 2026, there will be NO DASEP programming on the following dates:

 

•   FRR Open House, Grades K-5 - Monday, October 19th. No DASEP (due to loss of spaces).

 

•   PSB Professional Development Day - Tuesday, November 3rd. No school and no DASEP.

 

• District Early Release Days: 

  • ​Wednesday, November 4th

  • Thursday, November 12th

  • Wednesday, November 18th

  • Thursday, December 3rd 

Note: School dismissal is at 12:40pm on these days.​

 

• Veterans Day - Wednesday, November 11th. No school and no DASEP.

   

  Thanksgiving Break: Tuesday, November 24th through Friday, November 27th

  • Note: School will be in session on Tuesday, November 24th, but NO DASEP programming on that afternoon.

  • **School and DASEP resume on Monday, November 30th.**

     

• Winter Break: Thursday, December 24th through Friday, January 1st

  ** School and DASEP resume on Monday, January 4th.

   

  MLK Holiday - Monday, January 18. No school and no DASEP.

 

 

Please Note: The last day of DASEP’s Fall/Winter Session is scheduled for Friday, February 12, 2027, the last day of school before February Vacation
 

Other Important Information: In the event that the Superintendent of Brookline Schools cancels school and/or after-school programming due to inclement weather (“snow days") or for any other reason, DASEP programming will not take place. DASEP will make reasonable efforts to schedule make-ups for activities and music lessons canceled due to instructor illness, snow days, etc. However, due to staffing and space constraints, DASEP may not be able to offer make-ups for every canceled class or music lesson.
