DASEP Policies

REFUND POLICY

* If you or your child decide not to proceed with a class after having paid but before the class begins, the tuition payment will be refunded via the same method you paid (e.g., credit card). However, the $50 registration fee is non- refundable.

* Within 24 hours of the FIRST class attendance, if you or your child wish to withdraw from a class, the tuition payment will be refunded via the same method you paid (e.g., credit card). However, the $50 registration fee is non- refundable.

CLASS CHANGES POLICY

* Within 24 hours of the FIRST class attendance, if you or your child wish to leave this class and substitute another class with availability, you must contact the director, register for the new class and pay it in full. After this, you will be refunded for the class your child has left.

* After 24 hours from first attendance, if you or your child wish to withdraw from a class with no substitute, the tuition paid will be forfeited, unless there is a waiting list for the class, and another child can take your child’s place.

LATE PICKUP POLICY

Please be considerate and make sure your children are picked up on time. Please remember that any adults staying to watch your children might have their own obligations. After the first two late pickups, parents will be charged $10 per 15 minute increment after the scheduled pickup time.

PHOTO/VIDEO POLICY

From time to time, DASEP may photograph or videotape classes or events for educational purposes, website and publications. If you do not wish your child to be photographed or videotaped, please submit a brief written statement to DASEP's Executive Director, Lauren Bernard.

PRIVACY POLICY

This policy covers how DASEP uses your family's personal information. We take your privacy seriously and will take all measures to protect your personal information. Any personal information received will only be used to process your registration. We will not sell or redistribute your information to anyone unaffiliated with DASEP.

BEHAVIOR POLICY

All students participating in DASEP classes have the right to a safe, enriching, and fun experience in a caring and supportive environment. As such, DASEP reserves the right to deny participation to a child whose behavior interferes with this right and/or disrupts the normal class routine. Examples of such behavior include but are not limited to: a student who has been disruptive in a previous DASEP class; a student who demonstrates behavior that could be a danger to him or herself or others; or a student who requires a level of attention from the instructor that impedes his or her ability to attend to the needs of other students and/or run a safe and engaging class. In addition, DASEP reserves the right to withdraw a student from a class if he or she demonstrates the aforementioned types of behavior and/or distracts other students to the extent that they cannot safely enjoy the class. DASEP also reserves the right to remove a child from a class or from the program entirely if he/she poses a significant danger to himself or others, including bullying. Bullying of any kind will not be tolerated, and any child found to be bullying risks immediate dismissal from the program. No refunds will be given in any of these cases.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY POLICY

I certify that my child has no physical or other impairment that would prevent him or her from safely participating in the DASEP activities in which he or she is about to enroll. I acknowledge that participation in certain activities may involve risk of injury, and I knowingly and freely assume such risk. As such, I willingly allow my child to participate in these DASEP activities. I acknowledge that DASEP makes every effort to ensure the safety of its program. I, for myself and on behalf of my child, release DASEP and its agents from any liability or claims for any accident or injury that my child could sustain while participating in DASEP.
