This class uses the coding language Java to introduce students to object-oriented programming. We start with key concepts such as data elements, data types, and the installation of a basic IDE (integrated development environment), and then utilize these concepts to code, compile, execute and debug programs. Later, we introduce more advanced topics like algorithms, functions, and syntax — complemented by constant hands-on learning.
