This course will introduce your child to the fundamental principles and concepts of graphic design and digital art by using Pixlr, an online program based on Adobe Photoshop as well as Canva, to create a wide variety of design and art projects: surreal landscapes, painted backgrounds, original characters, postcards, brochures; cookbooks with digitalized recipes and graphic artwork; exotic and intricate coloring books, and other post-worthy digital designs. The possibilities are endless! Each lesson also consists of opportunities for students to utilize digital arts to create media and messaging. This class is geared toward both first-timers and students with some digital art experience. All are welcome!
 
Note: Laptops will be provided. 3rd graders with some experience may join on a case by case basis and with instructor's permission.
